Does the PU Activator make the surface waterproof?
Just looking through your website on Fibrecoat and want to know if I applied the PU activator, would it make the surface waterproof or would I have to apply the Fibrecoat resin system?

The PU activator cannot be used on its own as a primer layer and would always need a porosity sealer over the top. The PU activator disappears in around 15 mins and does not leave a film or coating it only activates the surface ready for the main primer layer.

Hi Roy,
Once you’ve applied the activator, how long can you leave it before applying the main primer?
Once the PU Activator has been applied you need to apply the main primer between 2 to 4 hours later or you would need to activate the surface again.
